All types of polyethylene are in a downtrend in the second half of June and July against the background of a wide supply of imported material – mainly linear low density polyethylene (LDL) and low pressure polyethylene (HDPE) – while mainly in the domestic market of high pressure polyethylene (LDPE) also decreased.<\/p>\n

There is a sufficient supply of all types of PE, and the demand is mixed, with many buyers buying only to fulfill current orders.<\/p>\n

According to the ICIS-MRC Price Review, demand for polyethylene in the Russian market is still low, many market participants state that demand is worse than the June level, and in almost all sectors of consumption. After active purchases in June, some processors are in no hurry to replenish their inventories.
