In the Lviv region lit dump. On March 10, at about seven in the morning, a landfill caught fire near the town of Novoyavorovsk, Lviv region.\nAbout the unfortunate incident reported in the State Emergency Service.
\nFirefighters arriving at the call determined that the area of \u200b\u200bburning garbage is about a hectare. All day long, firefighters are trying to put out the flames, but so far to no avail, and the fire is being continued to extinguish. The nearest water source was about 1 km away.
\nTo eliminate the fire, 22 people of the personnel and three units of special equipment have already been involved. It is worth noting that in May 2016 a garbage shift occurred at a garbage dump in the village of Gribovichi in the Lviv region during fire fighting. Under the rubble were three employees of GSChS and an ecologist.
\nThen the landfill was closed and stopped shipping the waste. After that, the city periodically dumps undelivered garbage, and in the country they catch cars that carry waste from Lviv to landfills of other cities or dump it right in the fields.
