The capacity of the plant will be 82 thousand tons of waste per year. The company MS Social Project, a member of the ICU group, invests from 7 to 10 million euros in the construction of a plant for processing unsorted municipal solid waste (MSW) in Zhytomyr.<\/p>\n
The design capacity of the plant involves the processing of about 82 thousand tons of solid waste per year.<\/p>\n
The project of the plant construction will be implemented in accordance with the standards and requirements of the European Union to ensure environmental safety, using the latest and successfully tested in many European countries, technology for the processing of solid waste.<\/p>\n
The processing depth of this technology will reach 85-95%, and its result will be the receipt of secondary raw materials, alternative RDF-fuel for cement plants and compost from the organic fraction of solid waste. All products received will be sold for reuse, which fully corresponds to the concept of a continuous cycle economy.<\/p>\n
The preliminary construction period of the facility is 1 year from the moment of obtaining the necessary permits. The plant will work in 2 shifts. The number of employees is 150 people.<\/p>\n
“After implementing this project in Zhytomyr, we are considering the possibility of building such plants in other cities of Ukraine, for us this is an important social project aimed at improving the environmental situation in the country,” comments Konstantin Stetsenko, managing partner of the ICU.<\/p>\n
The contractor for the project implementation selected one of the leading companies in Europe in this direction – Thehnix (Croatia). Tehnix is \u200b\u200ba manufacturer of equipment and a developer of MBO-T technology (mechanical, biological and heat treatment and processing of solid municipal waste), which provides about 95% of the processing of mixed solid waste without further formation of landfills and landfills.<\/p>\n
