Mountains of waste, a lake with fetid grease and gulls, circling over a giant “feeder”. The main dump of the capital was built more than 30 years ago. It is here that all the people of Kyiv and the region are thrown into the garbage baskets every day. For the year 400 thousand tons! The polygon is almost full. There are built 100 waste disposal enterprises. More than 70 in Germany. In a small Switzerland – 30. And in a multi-million Ukraine only one incinerator works.<\/p>\n
Here it is, on the left bank of Kiev. But even with the capital garbage can not cope. After all, these in the metropolis need 4.<\/p>\n

And this is the village of Ataki in the Chernivtsi region. Located – right on the banks of the Dniester. The place is picturesque. But instead of tourist camps there is a dump. Tens of years, locals bring garbage here. Justification – there is no place to waste. Everybody throws it out and we go there too.<\/p>\n
