\"\"Kazanorgsintez (CBS, part of the TAIF group), the largest producer of polyethylene (PE) in Russia, stopped the production of high-pressure polyethylene (LDPE) for planned preventive maintenance, according to the ICIS-MRC Price Review.<\/p>\n

CBS at the end of last week began a sequential stop for prolonged preventive maintenance of the third stage of LDPE capacity. The full stop of production took place on the 20th of April.<\/p>\n

According to the representative of the enterprise, the simple capacity will be quite long, the production resumption is planned after the 10th of May.<\/p>\n

The current stop for the prevention of Kazanorgsintez is the first stop of Russian manufacturers for repairs in the current year. The next stop is planned at Angarsk Polymer Plant in July.<\/p>\n

PJSC “Kazanorgsintez” is one of the largest enterprises of the Russian Federation (“TAIF” Group of Companies). It produces more than 38% of all Russian polyethylene and is its largest exporter. At present, polyethylene, polycarbonate, polyethylene pipes, phenol, acetone, bisphenol A. are produced. KOS is the only Russian manufacturer of polycarbonates. A total of 170 types of products. The volume of annual production is 1.6 million tons. The company is the largest manufacturer of low-pressure polyethylene pipes (HDPE) in Russia.
