<\/a><\/h1>\nIn July continued growth of imports of polypropylene in Ukraine, in particular, has increased the supply of propylene homopolymers (PP-Homo). The total value of exports last month reached the level of 8,2 thousand tons compared to 7.2 thousand tons in June. Overall, in January – July of 2015, the total volume of foreign supplies of polymers of propylene to the local market fell to 50.5 thousand tons compared to 62.2 thousand tons a year earlier. The largest drop of supplies I had on molding the block copolymers of propylene (PP-block) because of a full stop of several processing plants in the East.<\/p>\n
Supply structure by types of polypropylene during the period under review are as follows.<\/p>\n
In July of external supplies PP-Homo on the Ukrainian market increased to 6.4 thousand tons compared to 5.4 thousand tons a month earlier due to the growth in the supply of raffia from Saudi Arabia and Russia. Thus, for seven months of current year imports of PP-Homo decreased by 18% compared to the same indicator of 2014 year and amounted to 39.4 tonnes.<\/p>\n
Last month the indicator external supply block copolymers of propylene was actually saved at the level of June and amounted to slightly less than 900 tons. During the review period, imports of PP block in Ukraine decreased to 5 thousand tons against 7 thousand tonnes a year earlier. The largest fall in demand had on the sector of injection molding, also significantly reduced the demand for the copolymer from local producers.<\/p>\n
In July, the import stat-propylene copolymers (PP-random) in Ukraine amounted to about 600 tons compared to 512 tons in June, increased purchases of local manufacturers of pressure pipes. In January – July of 2015, the total volume of foreign supplies of this kind of copolymers of propylene was about 4.5 thousand tons compared to 5.1 thousand tons a year earlier. The demand for stat-propylene copolymers decreased in all consumption sectors, the exception was local manufacturers of injection molding.<\/p>\n
Total other supplies of propylene copolymers in the period under review amounted to about 1.6 thousand tons compared to 1.9 thousand tons a year earlier.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
