Negotiations regarding the August price level of the European PE markets of CIS countries began this Monday. The proposal of the polymer by most producers in the current month are substantial, the only exception is pipe high-density polyethylene (HDPE), whereas a month ago for all positions of the polyethylene was a deficit. In most cases, the export price PE were reduced by EUR80-100 per ton.<\/p>\n

Deals for August shipment HDPE discussed this week in the range of EUR1 370-1 450 per tonne, FCA, on average by EUR 100 per tonne below the July level of prices. Export quotas on the market has increased, customers are not informed of any restrictions in the procurement of them.<\/p>\n

Similar situation on the market of high-pressure polyethylene (LDPE), deals mainly discussed in the range of EUR1 400-1 450 per tonne, FCA, which is EUR80 per ton below the July level of prices. Some buyers claim that they have achieved a price below the level of EUR1 400 per tonne, FCA.<\/p>\n

On average EUR100 per tonne fell and linear polyethylene (LDL). The deal on the supply of metallocene LDL from Europe are discussed in the range of EUR1 600-1 660 per tonne, FCA<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
