Imports of low-density polyethylene (HDPE) to the European market decreased in November last year by 16.18% compared to the same month of the previous year – up to 88.097 thousand tons, ICIS reported with reference to the statistical agency Eurostat.<\/p>\n
In November, 2016, this indicator was at the level of 105.11 thousand tons.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the export of IPA from Europe to other world markets, on the contrary, increased during the reporting period by 3.34% and amounted to 72.39 thousand tons against 70.05 thousand tons in November 2016.<\/p>\n
Earlier it was noted that the import of ethylene (raw materials for polyethylene production) to the European market increased in November 2017 by 22.19% compared to the same month last year – to 34.26 thousand tons, while in November 2016 this figure was 28.04 thousand tons.<\/p>\n
According to DataScope of the company MRC, in January-November 2017, the total volume of imports of HDPE to Russia increased by 61.9% compared to the same period of the previous year and amounted to 222.33 thousand tons, while in the eleven months of 2016 this indicator was at the level of 137.34 thousand tons.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
