\"\"The preparatory land works necessary for the construction of a unique waste-processing complex in Ukraine are now being carried out at the Dergachevsky solid waste landfill near Kharkov, the Main reports with reference to the City Council website.<\/p>\n

As Nikolai Sklyarov, the director of the municipal company “Municipal company for waste management”, said today, on November 24, for the construction of the complex, the extension of the landfill is necessary for another 34 hectares. Now work is going on 17 hectares, where a new polygon will be located. A number of works are underway to prepare a site for installing the necessary equipment of the garbage recycling complex itself, which includes a sorting point for garbage, collection of landfill gas and processing it into electricity.<\/p>\n

As Nikolay Sklyarov noted, at the landfill under construction the gas gathering system will be installed immediately. If the advising German firm considers it rational, a system for processing waste into mineral fertilizers will also be created.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
