\"\"The price proposal for polyethylene (PE) in Saudi Arabia declined amid a weakening of demand and a broad supply, ICIS reports citing sources in the market.<\/p>\n

According to market representatives, the largest regional producer announced a decrease in film PE prices at USD10 per ton.<\/p>\n

Prices of high-pressure polyethylene film (LDPE) were at the level of USD1,270 per tonne, DEL Saudi Arabia (cash). The prices of film LDPE on a credit basis are USD1,295-1,301 per tonne, DEL Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n

The same manufacturer reduced the price of linear PE (LDL) by USD10 per tonne to USD1,150-1,210 per tonne, DEL Saudi Arabia (cash) and USD25-30 higher if payment on credit.<\/p>\n

Low-density polyethylene (HDPE) prices decreased by USD10 per tonne to USD1,170 per tonne, DEL Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n

This week, the manufacturer plans to announce prices for November supplies.<\/p>\n

According to the Price Review of ICIS-MRC, in Russia the demand for polyethylene in the last week of October was very low, most of the processors took a break in purchases until November. Many are confident in the further decline in polyethylene prices next month. Last week the price of polyethylene continued to fall, the film LDPE and HDPE became cheaper.
