The contract price was approved on the basis of FD NWE (with delivery to North-Western Europe).<\/p>\n

This price was agreed between this manufacturer and its two buyers, confirmation from one of which is still expected. Negotiations from other participants of the contract market are continuing.<\/p>\n

The contract price is considered fully agreed upon after confirmation from a minimum of two producers (suppliers) and from two consumers.<\/p>\n

Earlier it was noted that the contract price of ethylene in Europe for September supplies was finally approved at the level of EUR995 per ton, which is EUR30 per ton higher than the price of August.<\/p>\n

Ethylene is the main raw material component for the production of polyethylene (PE).<\/p>\n

According to the Price Review of ICIS-MRC, since mid-September, buying activity in the Russian polyethylene market has been significantly reduced, many companies closed all their deals for the September supplies of PE. Most of the processors tried to make purchases with a margin. The supply of many types of PE is limited, but, nevertheless, there is no obvious shortage.
