\"\"Ineos, one of the largest petrochemical producers in Europe and the fourth largest chemical company in the world, plans to close the production of high-pressure polyethylene (LDPE) at Bamble (Bamble, Norway) for planned repairs at the end of September, ICIS sources told the market.<\/p>\n

According to the source, scheduled repairs at this plant with a capacity of 140 thousand tons of LDPE per year will last seven days.<\/p>\n

As reported by Market Report earlier, Ineos closed the cracking unit No. 5 on September 1 with a capacity of 680,000 tons of ethylene and 335,000 tons of propylene per year in the Kempark petrochemical park (Chempark, Dormagen, Germany) for scheduled repairs.<\/p>\n

In addition, Ineos Olefins & Polyolefins on September 1 stopped production at the plant for the production of metallocene linear polyethylene (MLPNP) with a capacity of 230 thousand tons per year in Cologne (Cologne, Germany) for routine preventive measures.<\/p>\n
