\"\"Chinese investors are ready to invest in the construction of a garbage processing plant in the Kherson region.<\/p>\n

This was discussed at a round table meeting in Kherson Regional State Administration. The construction of the plant is expected to be financed by the scheme 95: 5 – that is, 95% of the financing from the investor and 5% of the local budgets.<\/p>\n

The Chinese are ready to allocate UAH 52 million to the plant, but the Kherson authorities must provide them with a certificate of the financial condition of the land.<\/p>\n

This project will be implemented in accordance with the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and the Government of Ukraine. As for the plant itself, it is a project of Americans, and its construction can take less than a month, the newspaper reports.<\/p>\n

Also the chairman of the Regional Administration Andrey Gordeev said that after the first roundtable he was pleasantly surprised by the resonance that took place in Ukraine. Despite the fact that two investors presented their presentations, two more investors came to the administration, who proposed their own options. The projects envisage the possibility of not only processing garbage but also generating electricity and heat.<\/p>\n

“I am pleasantly impressed by the kind of resonance the raised question has not only in the Kherson region, but also in Ukraine. After the last “round table” two more companies applied to us, who want to present their technologies, their vision and investment proposals. And one more letter has gone. We want this process to be open, public, so that everyone can see it.
