\"\"Since the end of June, there has been a shortage of supply of natural low-pressure polyethylene (HDPE) in the Russian market. Some suppliers took a break in sales, the price increase is not ruled out, according to the ICIS-MRC Price Review.<\/p>\n

Over the last week of June, many market participants noted a lack of supply of natural HDPE pipe grade PE100. The main reason is the shutdown of the capacities of key Russian producers of this polyethylene: Gazprom nefthim Salavat and Nizhnekamskneftekhim. In July, the lack of this material on the market will continue, and at the same time, price growth is possible.<\/p>\n

In the first half of June, the offer of natural PE100 was sufficient, the deals were concluded in the range of 84,000-87,000 rubles. Per ton, including VAT, and delivery to the Central part of Russia. In mid-June, Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat reoriented to the production of injection molded HDPE, and from July 1 stopped the capacity for monthly prophylaxis.<\/p>\n

The second largest producer of natural PE100 – Nizhnekamskneftekhim since the end of June, has reoriented to the production of linear polyethylene, which is likely to last until August.<\/p>\n

Some trading companies temporarily suspended their sales in connection with the temporary shortage of natural PE100 on the market, although they have small inventories. Some of them are considering the possibility of increasing prices.<\/p>\n
