\"\u041f\u041f\"<\/a>Ufaorgsintez (UOS, the petrochemical asset of Bashneft, part of Rosneft) has developed a new brand of pipe polypropylene that can be used in the manufacture of pipes and fittings for hot, cold water, heating, Rupec reports with reference to the representatives of the company.<\/p>\n

The new brand of the random propylene copolymer with ethylene (PPR) 03003M1U has high strength characteristics, has increased resistance to thermal oxidative aging in hot water, improved organoleptic properties.<\/p>\n

The product was developed for three years. To confirm the quality of the PPR pipe mark and the possibility of its use in the production of pressure pipes, a long-term hydrostatic strength (MRS) test was carried out for 9,000 hours. They ended in April 2017. According to the results of the tests positive results were obtained, which confirmed the conformity of the brand to the requirements of GOST 32415 and international standards ISO 12162 (PPR-80).<\/p>\n

Also, the specialists of the Environmental Protection Agency received a positive conclusion of the tests for hygienic safety, which makes it possible to use a new brand of polypropylene pipe in water supply systems.<\/p>\n

Propylene homopolymers (PPH), block copolymers (PPB) and propylene \/ ethylene copolymers with ethylene (PPR) can be used as raw materials for the production of polypropylene pipes, depending on the purpose. PPH is actively supplanted by the PPB polymer. PPR has become widespread in the production of pressure pipes for hot and cold water supply and heating. A special feature of the copolymer is its high resistance to hot water for a long time.<\/p>\n

The product portfolio of Ufaorgsintez is represented by the following brands of pipe polypropylene: block copolymers of propylene with ethylene (PPB) 02003M1 and 02003M1U, intended for the production of double-layer perforated sewer pipes and fittings; A random copolymer of propylene with ethylene (PPR) 03003M1U, which is used as raw material for the production of pressure pipes and fittings for hot and cold water supply and heating.<\/p>\n

Until recently, the demand for polypropylene pipe brands in Russia was largely met through imports. The key suppliers of raw materials for the production of PPR pipes were Borealis, Sabic, LyondelBasell, Inno-Comp, Hyosung. In 2015, according to expert estimates, demand for Russian polypropylene by pipe manufacturers increased to 80 thousand tons.<\/p>\n

According to the Market Report, in January-April, the total release of the polymer to Ufaorgsintez increased to 41.2 thousand tons against 40.9 thousand tons a year earlier.<\/p>\n
