In particular, the ethylene contract price was agreed at EUR45 per tonne above December and benzene &#8211; at EUR175 per tonne.<\/p>\n<p>As reported by the MRC, the December price of styrene monomer in Europe were agreed at the level of EUR1 195 per tonne, which is EUR170 per tonne higher than the previous month.<\/p>\n<p>Styrene is the main raw materials for the production of polystyrene (PS).<\/p>\n<p>According to the price review ICIS-MRC, in the last week of last year, prices in the Russian market of the SS remained stable. Trading companies reported a decline in consumer activity in the second half of the week, which was associated with the upcoming holidays and long weekend.
