That is, we are all forbidden on the level, and what would people do with their own garbage? Where waste management program? We have 20 plus years of waste deposited in landfills only. This practice is still in effect, and still we have not learned in a different way to deal with waste. Is it possible that the landfill at least close, to organize two years? – It has long been necessary to close, and also had to make a new landfill, equipped by all the rules, so there was a special membrane, a special collection of leachate, cleaning, etc.<\/p>\n

The fifth training ground, as far as I know, there is a cleaning, maybe it is imperfect, moreover, that this landfill has probably exhausted its resource. But we will have another training ground, and the people who live in the suburbs, they say that we do not need such a landfill in Pidhirtsi. Where do we find such a landfill? Why in Lviv still do not have a new landfill? Because people are protesting, they do not want to mess that came under the house, so that they become a victim of this condition here.<\/p>\n

I was recently in Lviv, and was surprised: people relax, happy, nice, cheerful life in the city goes, European city.
\nBut, I know, this problem occurs in the country, that is, there are people as victims, forced to endure the training ground under his house.
\nCity program has not done anything to reduce this waste. I see a way out to at least sort. This is 40% of the waste can be sorted at least, and can be sold. The next phase – it is organic waste.<\/p>\n

\n– This applies to all landfills, without exception, and we are waiting for, when a new legislation that would regulate the field of waste management. Because in Europe, for example, there are three types of landfill: hazardous waste, neutral and even some security.
\nThat is, there is not dumped unsorted garbage in a row as we have going on. First, waste is recycled, are taken out valuable, then it looks that there is, that’s hazardous waste are removed, that is being buried neutral residue.<\/p>\n

From a neutral residue make RDF – a fuel to produce electricity or heating. The mayor said that, first of all, we are talking about pouring a polygon that will get rid of peculiar smell. What does this mean? What kind of reagents in question?<\/p>\n

– Reclamation landfill – simply poured on top of a layer of debris. This is happening now, just by the standards need to fill it often. We have the same amount of waste is exported out of control there, I doubt that the workers of this landfill would pour it, and where to get so much construction debris?<\/p>\n

There is huge map of construction waste on this site. I do not see how they will do so. That is, even the suction can not be done?<\/p>\n

– You can, but it does mean that you need to close the polygon fill, remove for 30 years out of biogas, because the landfill will have to support in a neutral state, because the next rain – and the inside is formed of methane vapors, it all explodes, burns and smolders . These burning dumps in the summer – it’s trouble all polygons. There are no special settings to be removed from there, biogas, methane. How do you see the future landfill in Pidhirtsi?<\/p>\n

– A lot of technology there is the European and other developed countries. As a rule, they poured it on top of a layer of soil, construction waste and biogas is produced.<\/p>\n

This American practice, 30 years of biogas produced, then it is considered that the waste to become neutral, and at this point you can build a factory, at home, it is unlikely, probably the garden can be justified, but the land is suitable for use. The filtrate will not get into the ground water?<\/p>\n

– Filtrates in ground water in any case will be generated, if the original was not a system for the collection of waste, in the process it will be difficult to arrange.<\/p>\n

This is a great system to feed through the pipes of the filtrate to a purification system, then it is driven into a special lake, where they are allowed to stand. That is, today, at this range it is, there is a cleaning system, perhaps it is not perfect, but it exists. Even in Lviv, this was not.<\/p>\n
