\"IMG_5724\"<\/a>Manufacturers of polypropylene (PP) in Thailand reduced the price on the domestic market USD20-30 per tonne this week with a view to unload stocks, according to ICIS, citing market participants.<\/p>\n

Prices of cast polypropylene and PP for fibers and filaments in the local market were voiced in the range Bt38-39 per kg, up Bt1 lower compared to the price last week. USD1 = Bt34,65 (Thai Baht).<\/p>\n

The processors are in no hurry to make deals, hoping for further price reductions on the part of manufacturers. One of the Thai producers has also reduced export prices of PP for the markets of Southeast Asia.<\/p>\n

The price of Thai duty-free PP was USD1060 per tonne, CFR (cost and freight), South-East Asia. Other quotations ranged USD1 080-1 090 per ton, CFR Southeast Asia.<\/p>\n

According to the price review ICIS-MRC, in Russia we have started negotiations on October level of contract prices of polypropylene Russia this week. Opinions manufacturers divided. Some manufacturers insist on prolongation of September prices for October, one manufacturer intends to achieve higher prices. The situation with the offer homo-PP raffia grade market by the end of the month improved (in the middle of the month there was no offer from the Polyom and Ufaorgsintez). In the market of injection PP random yet saved fault and, as noted by some market participants, this situation will be in October.<\/p>\n
