Company of Plymouth, Wisconsin, added expanded polypropylene (EPP) and polyethylene foam (EPE) to the content of their molds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company said that in the next 18-24 months will offer a new thermoplastic polyurethane (ETPU), which was introduced in 2013 by BASF SE. CEO and President David Bolland of the company commented, &#8220;We know that many other foam particles are in development right now.&#8221; Engineering foam particles have some attractive characteristics: they can be recycled, they resist solvents and chemicals, and they have a good strength to weight ratio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">EPE has a soft texture and is ideal for the packaging of electronic products, with polished surfaces. According to Bolland, the company&#8217;s goal is to take these and future engineering foam to a new level through the use of existing markets and explore new ones.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;We believe that this is a natural part of our growth and development, and that Plymouth Foam is uniquely qualified to bring this about. We have a partnership and trust of customers.
