President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during his participation in the Regional Development Council in Transcarpathia ordered to prepare a special program for waste recycling enterprises and “green energy” of the region.

This was reported in the press service of the Head of State.

“I would ask that we plan and develop a special program for Transcarpathia on priority proposals for waste processing enterprises and energy. Because we have solar power plants as“ green energy ”everything is being built. Why doesn’t anyone want to clean the sun No. We will do so that the energy balance is a European experience – both in Transcarpathia and throughout Ukraine would be effectively used, “said the President.

Poroshenko instructed the Deputy Prime Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services Gennady Zubko and Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Gennady Moskal to prepare relevant proposals.

Gennady Moskal noted that the issue of waste recycling enterprises is relevant for the whole of Ukraine, including Transcarpathia. According to him,
in the region, forest occupies more than 52% of the territory and there is not enough land for landfills.
