Both trucks with semi-trailers are seized

In the city of Zhashkiv (Cherkassy region), policemen discovered two trucks that tried to unload in one of the villages garbage brought from another area. This was reported by the press service of the police of the Cherkassy region.

“The Zhashkivsky police department received a message that the unidentified persons unloading garbage from the trucks on the territory of the city of Zhashkiv.The investigative and operational group was sent to the challenge,” the report said.

On the spot, the police found two Renault Magnum trucks with semi-trailers, the driver of one of which had already unloaded household waste onto the land plot, and another vehicle’s semitrailer was still loaded with household garbage.

One of the drivers explained to the policeman that he had brought back the garbage from another area, providing freight invoices.

Both cars with semi-trailers were seized.

The police did not specify where exactly the garbage was brought from, while the local edition of “InfoMIST” referring to its own sources reported that garbage was brought from Lviv.

Zhashkivsky police station opened in fact a criminal proceeding under Article 239 (pollution or damage to lands) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for a fine of up to two hundred non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens or forfeiture of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years.
