Gazprom, the owner of the Russian gas transportation system and the largest consumer of large diameter pipes (LDP), has canceled five recently announced open requests for the supply of LDP for the construction of the main Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok gas pipeline, Interfax reported, citing the company’s statement.

Earlier it was noted that for the first time the purchase was planned for the parent company of PJSC Gazprom, rather than the specialized subsidiaries OOO Gazprom komplektatsiya or OOO Gazprom invest.

It was about the delivery of 255 thousand tons of LDP for a total limit of 22.684 billion rubles. until the end of October 2018.

The further expansion of the Sakhalin – Khabarovsk – Vladivostok gas pipeline (SHV) will provide the possibility of pumping up to 20 billion cubic meters. m of natural gas per year. The second start-up complex SHV should provide additional gas supplies to consumers in the Khabarovsk and Primorye Territories, as well as for export. Within the framework of achieving the designated capacity of the highway, construction of 5 compressor stations with a total capacity of 377 MW and about 380 km of the linear part is planned. The second phase of SCP is scheduled to be commissioned in stages, beginning in 2020.

According to monitoring by Interfax, since early 2018, Gazprom Group companies announced or planned to purchase 897,935 tons of LDP for 77.314 billion rubles. Of these, 602.885 thousand tons were purchased for 49.413 billion rubles.

As reported by MRC, Gazprom, according to the data for March of the current year, built 1,629 km of the linear part of the main gas pipeline to China “The Power of Siberia” (the total length of the first stage is 2158 km).
